##4eCO: Used to coordinate games for the ##4eCO IRC group
This site is used to coordinate signups for games run by the ##4eCO IRC group. To play in any of these games, you'll need to find us on IRC, because announcements about Maptools server location and Vent server location only happen via the IRC channel.
The Thursday game gives seating priority to people willing to DM. If you're not willing to DM, odds are pretty good you won't be able to play either, as all the seats will be taken by the other DMs. Volunteer.
If you want to run a game, let kilpatds or Dielzen know (via IRC) and we'll add something to the calendar for you.
Maptools Base Setup Update!!
The Template for the campaign has been updated! It now includes support for DeviantNull tokens (both players and monsters). There's two reasons for this. Firstly, it allows for monster macro creation with a lot less effort (once you get the hang of it), Secondly, it allows for people to have fancier tokens without having to learn programming, they just have to use the DN setup and follow the directions. For the first couple weeks, you can't expect a DM to have used this template, so you may not be able to use the DN setup right away.
How to make a DeviantNull token
DMs --> Directions to convert a old campaign to the new one
- Go to the old file, go to any of the encounter maps
- Map --> Export; repeat for each encounter
- Go to the new file
- Map --> Import; repeat for each encounter
- Enjoy!
If you're DMing, after you create your maps in PyMapper, you should import them into the Blank LFR Module Campaign File so that everyone's tokens/properties work properly. Instructions on how to use this are included in the zip file.
All times will be in Eastern, to cut down on confusion, since it seems Americans suck at time conversion more than non-Americans.
You must have either macros or a mic in order to play....you may PM me (Dielzen) on IRC at any time for assistance with macros.
