In a world where steam technology and guns meets magic, do you have what it takes to help keep the peace? GM: Izzy DeJesus warpshadow@tmail.com

Space Alert the Boardgame, Room 315A (Board Game)
By Boardgame. It's a cooperative team survival game. Players become crew members of a small spaceship scanning dangerous sectors of galaxy. The missions last just 10 real-time minutes (hyperspace jump, sector scan, hyperspace jump back) and the only task the players have is to protect their ship. On 2 CDs (or Scenario cards if you don't have a CD player available) are ten minute long soundtracks that represent central computer announcements about the presence of various threats. These vary from space battleships and interceptors to different interstellar monsters and abominations, asteroids or even intruders and malfunctions on the spaceship. Players have to agree who will take care of which task and coordinate their actions (moving around the ship, firing weapons, distributing energy, using battlebots to deal with intruders, launching guided missiles, etc.) in real time to defend the ship. Only a well-working team can survive 10 minutes and make the jump back to safety.

They can not chose not to use all the dice when casting an incantation, for example a Liche Priest can’t choose only to use 1 dice on a spell. The 2 basic power dice all armies get only counts if they are used to dispel RIP spells with. Max 10 dispel dice per army. First dispel scroll (and similar working items) you have in your army counts as 1 dispel dice, in EACH magic phase. The second and all other scrolls, counts as 2 dispel dice in each magic phase. So if you have 3 scrolls you can use a maximum of 5 dispel dice each magic phase. Dice from magic resistance does count in this maximum. Being allowed to reroll your dispel dice every turn counts as 1 dispel dice.) All questions to: Janner Holliday at rennaj@yahoo.com

War Orphans, Room 315 A (Living Greyhawk - D&D v3.5)
A territorial war with savage tribes from the north has recently ended after a century of bloody conflict. The city of Tekrit was desperate for soldiers during this war and made a desperate plea to the savage species in surrounding lands: “Fight for us and we will grant you citizenship!” Many monsters took up this call and fought for Tekrit; leading them to victory. As expected, many soldiers died leaving many children behind to fend for themselves. You are one of these orphans and you have been told that the offer of citizenship was extended to those who served during the war, NOT their children. You still might be able to gain what you seek if you are prepared to offer the city your unique “services”…… ***SPECIAL NOTE*** This is a 1st level campaign using the 3.5 Edition rules of Dungeons & Dragons. All Characters must be 1st-level monstrous characters from the Monster Manuel 3.5 or Savage Species Books. All books, character sheets, and dice will be provided if you do not have your own. Veteran and first-time players welcome! Questions contact the GM at mistnshadows@aol.com
