This site has been set up for the pre-registration process for games provided by FORGE at MidSouthCon 28 in
Memphis, TN, March 12th-14th of 2010. Although you can pre-register for the games listed here, you must also
register for MidSouthCon 28 online, via mail, or at the door. You must have a MidSouthCon Badge to be able to game. This year MidSouthCon will be closing pre-registration two weeks prior to the convention. Once pre-registration is closed, we will be comparing our list of registered gamers with MidSouthCon's list of registered attendees. If there are people signed up for games who have not pre-registered with MidSouthCon and it cannot be satisfactorily confirmed that they will be attending the convention, we will be removing them from game registration to free up seats for others.
Confirmed FORGE GMs will not be removed from registration for games (either as GM or player).
We do not recoup any expenses from MSC, all our materials are paid for by the FORGE group. As such, we will be happy to accept donations from you to help cover these expenses.
Anyone donating $5 or more will be a VIP guest of FORGE...we will give you priority seating at the FORGE events, your seat at the table will be guaranteed, as long as you are on time and the table makes. We thank you for your donations which allow us to continue to support gaming in Memphis. (Anyone DMing 3 slots or more will automatically be considered a VIP!) POTENTIAL GMs PLEASE NOTE:
GMs will receive a free or discounted registration to MidSouthCon 28
- GM one slot and receive half-price registration to the convention.
- GM two slots and receive five dollar registration to the convention.
- GM three slots or more and receive free registration to the convention.

Venue/Lodging
Location
MidSouthCon is currently located at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center. It has over 40,000 square feet of meeting space, and it is set in the midst of 175 beautifully wooded acres located just on the outskirts of Memphis. Room Cost
The rooms are priced at a flat rate of $86.00 per night, and just in case you want to spend some extra time in Memphis, you can get the convention rate from March 11th to the 16th.

Directions from:
Memphis International Airport - Exit airport to I-240 East towards Nashville to 385 East/ Bill Morris Parkway. Exit Hacks Cross Road south; continue for 4.5 miles. Whispering Woods is on left.
I-40 Westbound from Nashville - Go West to I-240. Take I-240 South to 385 East/Bill Morris Parkway. Exit Hacks Cross Road south; continue for 4.5 miles. Whispering Woods is on left.
I-40 Eastbound from Arkansas - Go East to I-240. Take I-240 towards Jackson, MS; continue on I-240 towards Nashville (not I-55 South) to 385 East/Bill Morris Parkway. Exit Hacks Cross Road south; continue for 4.5
miles. Whispering Woods is on left.
I-55 Southbound from Arkansas - Go South to I-240 East towards Nashville to 385 East/Bill Morris Parkway. Exit Hacks Cross Road south; continue for 4.5 miles. Whispering Woods is on left.
I-55 Northbound from Jackson, Mississippi - Exit State Highway 302 East/Goodman Road; continue East for 14 miles. At Hacks Cross Road intersection, turn left. At second light, turn right. Whispering Woods is straight
ahead.
Airport Shuttle:
A complimentary airport shuttle service is available to and from Memphis International Airport (from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm daily). Upon arrival, just call 662-895-2941 for pick up outside baggage claim. Contact the front
desk 24 hours prior to departure to arrange return transportation to Memphis International Airport. |

Community
FORGE (Fellowship of Role Gaming Enthusiasts) is a Memphis-based RPG club, open to the public, whose goal is to facilitate gaming and promote gaming in the community.
FORGE holds at least 6 game days a month at a public location along with other games offered at the homes of our members. The offerings have included: Living Forgotten Realms, Pathfinder, Blackmoor, Call of Cthulhu, Modern D20, Shadowrun, and Gamma World.
